The first serious info-war is now engaged. The field of battle is WikiLeaks. You are the troops.

               I think  the public has the right to know everything the government  is doing, I believe that there couldn't be an effective democracy without complete transparency; equality and freedom have been identified as important characteristics of democracy since the beginning of it .These principles are reflected in all citizens being equal before the law and having equal access to power. Furthermore, freedom of political expression, freedom of speech and freedom of press are essential so that citizens are informed and able to vote in their personal interests.Although the abuse of power and often change in laws make of this a hard accomplish. The decisions the government make not only affect them, but everyone in society, not to mention the collateral damage to the world (environmentally) and people from other countries who are affected indirectly. The recent movies "Food Inc.", and  "The Inconvenient Truth" are clear examples of what is become because the lack of peoples awareness and participation in the say of major and/or minor decisions.I believe the public has the right to know everything the government is doing and be able to discuss freely,because at the end the government is only the representatives of the people, they have no higher or divine power, is not a totalitarianism, is a democracy, and is the people the real power, they are the the ones who decide either to give it  or take it away.


                If I were a journalist and I received leaked information about the government that i believe the public would want to know, but I was pressured by the government not to release it, i  would firstable see the significant prominence of the given information. Depending on that, there would be a number of ways to make it public. If its of minimum influence but still important for people to be aware I would send it to a reliable source either, the newspaper or any other media to release it, keeping my identity intact.Otherwise if the prominence was of a big deal and it would uncover a dark secret from the goverment  i would probably first get a lawyer to protect my self and see in what way it would be better to release the information wiouth or affectthing me the least.


               If i were to have information that i felt the public would want to know and i have to choce between Wikileaks or Openleaks to release the information, my choice would be based on the kind of information i posses. It is known that Openleaks was started by former employees of Wikileaks who felt it had certain political agendas under the direction of editor in chief Julian Assange. They want to be neutral and instead of publishing the information, Openleaks will send the leaked documents to various news entities. This could be seen as either a good or bad advantage for either one of them.
               If the information i held was of major importance regarding one group of people specifically or a aperson i would send the information to Wikileaks. Because of their current popularity and goverment  agenda i believe they will take the news to the next level not only by releasing it but making sure something is done about it.Otherwise if the information regards about he goverment overall i would probably send it to openleaks who wil send it to different enitties making sure the news is well spread.




               The following article; Ex-Swiss banker hands files to wiki-leaks talks about Rudolf Elmer, a former employee of Swiss-based Bank Julius Baer, who  produced a CD with disclose details of mass tax evasion.

Although he has not named those involved, he claims that the  CD contains information about 40 politicians, other clients include business people, multinational conglomerates and more.

               There has been much talk about Wikileaks and the level of danger that such an organization presents. However, that danger is only seen from a certain angle, one that does little to underscore the magnitude of the situation. There are multiple angles in which such an organization, not just wikileaks, is a very bad idea and in which it probably does much more harm than good according to some people. Although i believe that wiouth transparency democracy couldnt be effective.

The news is about the weather in Europe and how is affecting the way to travel specially if is either aerial or automobile. The heavy snow and frizzing temperatures are affecting the plans of tens of thousand of people whos  flights were cancelled.

Is  a reporter i n the studio is telling what happen why, where and who is the reporter who will be giving more details about this news.The stablishing picture is people sleeping in the airport, and airplines cover in tick layers of snow.

3-What is the introduction?The reporter tell us that because o fthe heavy snow and frizzing temperatures tons of thousand of people will be sleeping in the airport.

The sources that appeared in the video is the reporter itself and the people being interviewed.
